Please pray for my cat baby. The sweetest little boy i've ever known left this world on 02-04-09, he was only 1-1/2 years old. No one could ask for a better friend or companion and he loved to be loved. He was such a happy kitty, always playing and exploring, it was so much fun just watching him. I miss the way he loved the water and how he would jump in the tub when it would start draining, he liked the gurgling noise it would make. I miss how he liked to drink straight from the kitchen faucet and that his favorite toy was any wet dish sponge that he could steal from the sink. We found out about six month's ago that baby had heart disease, he was born with it. His cardiologist was treating him with five different medications which he always took like a little trooper. He survived two attacks of saddle thrombus but the third one was massive and hit both rear legs. We were right there when it happened and rushed him to the 24 hour animal hospital, all the while fluid was building up in his lungs from his poor little heart failing. He died as soon as we arrived. The sadist irony about him loving to play with water is he ended up drowning from fluid in his lungs. I know he was very scared when he couldn't breathe. I am completely devastated and every day i cry thinking about how he died. Oh lord, i miss him so much, my life will never be the same without him. Goodbye for now my pretty little pumpkin patch, look for me at the bridge, i will be calling your name. Daddy and mommy will always love you. |
